About Eglin Concourse International

Eglin Concourse International is a division of W P Eglin Ltd and has been designing and manufacturing robust, stylish public and passenger seating for many years.

Founded in 1880 in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, the Eglin Group still operates from its original premises – and has over 40 years’ experience in supplying passenger seating for airports, railway stations, bus terminals and public interchanges worldwide.

Many of the component parts are made and finished in-house and facilities include a metal shop with epoxy coating plant, upholstery department, final assembly and dispatch department.

Seating rigorously tested and accredited

At Eglin Concourse International, we are committed to quality – across our entire range. All our seating products are independently tested to British Standards. Eglin Concourse International is also accredited to ISO 9001:2000 and is a member of the British Furniture Manufacturers and the British Safety Council. In addition, Eglin operates pro-active environmental policies and is working towards achieving ISO 1400 1 Accreditation later in 2009.

Our work with the rail sector has led to us achieving Link-up Accreditation - the UK rail industry supplier qualification scheme that provides a single common registration and audit process.
